What is Tathastu?

Tathastu is a privacy-first digital legacy platform. It lets you write encrypted messages and store important documents for the people who matter, and delivers them to the right nominees only after a human-verified life-status check — so nothing important is lost, leaked, or left unsaid.

The problem we're solving

When someone passes away, two things almost always go wrong: things that should have been said are never said, and assets that belong to the family are never claimed. In India, an estimated ₹1.84 lakh crore in financial assets lies unclaimed — money that belongs to citizens but stays dormant because nominees and heirs don't know it exists.

How it works

You write messages and store documents in an encrypted vault. You name the nominees who should receive them. Tathastu quietly checks in over time. Nothing is ever delivered automatically — when a long period of inactivity is detected, a human admin completes a Life Status Verification before anything is released to your verified nominees.

Privacy you don't have to trust us to keep

Everything is encrypted on your own device before it ever reaches our servers. Your passphrase never leaves your device — we never see it, store it, or log it. We can deliver your messages, but we can never read them.
